#2 of the Barnett siblings!! On one hand I'm like "Ari you shouldn't make all your characters witches/make 3 characters for the group" and on the other I'm like
"#WITCHES"

oh right right!! if anyone is making a witch character who has always been in the coven (instead of previously coming in), all my characters have been in the coven since birth, so it would be likely that they'd know one another! if you want to create characters already friends are something, that is a-ok with me <3

Bio: (Some is similar to Avalon's bio while other bits vary)
B a r n e t t s | The Barnetts were a family of Witches with a strict 'Witches Only' policy. No humans. No Magical People. They married only witches, and only witches became the offspring. Known for their summoning abilities, each member of the Barnetts were able to summon a handful of beasts and spirits depending on their level of ability.

F a m i l y | Living with August was his mother, father, aunt, older sister, and older brother. He had lived in the coven since birth and thus knew many of the other witches. Though he didn't grow too close with his brother or mother, he found himself always going to his older sister, Avalon, for help and advice, and he often trained with his father. Being as close to Avalon as he was, he began to copy her instinct of hating the Magical People. He trained a lot with his siblings, Avalon and Athar, but he was no match for their physical prowess. After summoning a Bagiennik when he was 10- the youngest age in his family to have summoned a beast- the rift between August and Athar began to grow.

S u m m o n s | August's summoning ability came sooner than anyone else in his family. At the age of 10, he summoned a water demon called a Bagiennik who he named Gio. Gio was repulsing and an absolute mess to clean up after, but the Barnett family was impressed. Both Avalon and Athar (12 + 14, respectfully) had yet to obtain their own summons. Perfectly content with having summoned something, he waited a few years before trying to attempt to summon anything else. When he was 14, he managed to summon an Asrai- a beautiful aquatic fairy- named Circe. His family, again, was impressed. When he was 16, months before his mother's death, he managed to summon the strongest summon of his siblings to this day: A knucker water dragon named Kidna. 

D e a t h | Months about August was deemed the strongest of the Barnett siblings after summoning Kidna, the sudden death of August's mother due to one of her own summons attacking her both shocked and scared him. His mother's summon apparently didn't respect her. Realizing that Kidna also didn't respect him, he began to grow fearful of what would happen the day that Kidna decided to turn his back on August. Fearful of this, he confronted in Avalon, who was taking the death better than he had expected her to have. She simply told him that their summons could smell fear. If he was scared, Kidna would know. Realizing that he had some sort of duty for being named the strongest of the siblings, he decided to, similar to Avalon, let his mother's death serve merely as a warning.

Appearance: August has a slim figure and pale skin. Dark brown hair contrasts with his bright yellow eyes. He's 5'8 and prefers to wear darker colors. Always has his three rings on his right hand. 


First Ability: Summoning | Like the rest of his family, August specializes in summoning certain spirits and beasts. His specialty is within summoning water beasts.
-Bagiennik: Water demon that lives in the "depths of lakes and rivers". Capable of releasing an oily substance that both burns and heals their target. August named his Bagiennik "Gio". 
-Asrai: Beautiful and timid aquatic fairy. Named "Circe". 
-Knucker: Water dragon often found in waterholes. Originally named "Kidna", but August insists on calling him "Drake". August's strongest summon.
Notes: Because August is able to summon Drake, he's considered to be the strongest (in terms of ability) of the Barnett siblings. People don't really get that Drake doesn't respect August in the slightest. 
Weaknesses: Like the legends go, Asrai can't touch sunlight, so August never sends out Circe during daylight. While Gio's oily substance is capable of causing a burn, it also heals his target, so Gio is useless in combat unless used accordingly. Drake/Kidna feels that August is incapable of being a suitable witch, so their arguments on the battlefield waste time. August can really only get Drake to do things by making deals ("okay i'll clean you-- okay ill give you an apple")-- silly stuff like that.

Personality: 
Though August was claimed to be the strongest of his siblings, he prefers not to let others know this. He finds it strange that he- as the youngest- was determined to be the best. He'll mention his ability every now and then, but he'll be extremely modest. He was pampered by his family his entire life, and he hates that kind of treatment. He hates how that treatment had led his older brother, Athar, to pull away from him. 

August's also extremely calculating, and is, yet again, the smartest of his siblings. Unlike Avalon, he thinks things through thoroughly before making a decision. "How will this affect me in the future?" and "How will this affect the people I love?" are questions he frequently asks. Before telling secrets or any personal info, he has to make sure that he's capable of trusting the other person.

Regardless of all this, at heart August's a normal sexually ambiguous teenage boy with hormones. He enjoys having fun, and (similar to Avalon) he's very outgoing, not minding bumping into people's personal space. 

Likes: Sparring, rain, Avalonavalonavalon (she's like his role model omf), people, black coffee, singing (to himself, alone)

Dislikes: Storms, Magical people (influenced by Avalon ugu), his name, being treated as being better than anyone else


Triva:
-His goal in terms of abilities is to be able to summon Aspidochelone (a giant, island sized turtle) one day.
-He hates his name. He feels like it sounds too girly, so he decided to go with Aydan, the name his parents would've chosen if they didn't choose August. He introduces himself as Aydan and only says his real name if he's friends with the person. He lets (and even encourages) his family to call him August (even though he hates it) as sort of a... memento of his mom.
-He has 3 rings, one for each of his summons. The large blue one is for Kidna/Drake, and the more saturated of the two thin ones belong to Circe. The less saturated ring is for Gio.
-actually is pansexual
-was originally going to be 12, but that would be a huge age gap, so i bumped him up to 15. then im like nah and made him... 1-1-1-18. he's legal now orz
